Febriliany, Velina; Susanto, Agus; Sari, Perwita, Meliyana., 2022. The Relationship between Knowledge and the Use of Eye Drops in Kramat Village, Kramat District, Tegal Regency. Thesis. Diploma III Pharmacy Program at the Harapan Polytechnic, Tegal City. The eye is one of the organs that is very important in everyday life. A good level of knowledge will make it easy for each individual to obtain information on how to use eye drops. The correct use of eye drops greatly determines the success rate of eye drops and vice versa, an error in using eye drops that are not appropriate can- thwart the purpose of the drug and even worsen the condition of the eye. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between knowledge and the use of eye drops in the people of Kramat Village, Kramat District, Tegal Regency.This research uses a descriptive research type with a quantitative approach, the population in this study is the people of Kramat Village, Kramat District, Tegal Regency, aged (17-55 years). The research sample was selected as many as 1005 respondents using purposive sampling technique, data collection using questionnaires, data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis. The correlation test was used using the chi-square test with a significance limit value of 0.05. The results of this study indicate that knowledge with the use of eye drops has a significant relationship with a p-value of 0.002 <0.05 The conclusion of this study is that is a significant relationship between knowledge and the use of eye drops in Kramat Village, Kramaat District, Tegal Regency Keywords: Knowledge, Drug Use, Eye Drops
