Amalia, Stefany Eka, Muldiyana, Tya, Prabandari, Sari., 2023. Relationship of Knowledge with the Use of Dexamethasone Corticosteroid Drugs at the Adibah Luwungragi Clinic, Brebes
Corticosteroids are a class of drugs that contain steroid hormones that function to relieve inflammation or anti-inflammatory. The purpose of using dexamethasone in this research was to determine the relationship between knowledge and the rational use of dexamethasone corticosteroid drugs in patients at the Adibah Clinic in Luwungragi Brebes. This research method uses a descriptive correlation method with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this research was 98 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and obtained 50 respondents. How to collect data using a questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate. The results of this research obtained data based on the results of the questionnaire on the level of knowledge of respondents in the excellent category, 40 respondents (80%), and 10 respondents (20%) in the good category. Then, based on drug use, it showed that 43 respondents (86%) were included in the good variety, and 7 respondents (14%) were in the sufficient category. The results of the chi-square test obtained a p-value of 0.023 < 0.05. There is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the use of corticosteroid drugs dexamethasone at the Adibah Luwungragi Clinic Brebes.
