Abstract :
Ergonomics topics that are closely related to the world of work include
working positions and postures, manual material handling and repetitive
movements so that it can cause Musculosceletal Disorders (MSDs) complaints in
workers. PT. Graha Nusa Pratama is a shipping service company with the majority of
physical activities or manual handling, namely one of them is the repetitive or repetitive
movement of moving various items of various sizes and weights that are carried out while
working. The purpose of this study was to determine the causes of Musculosceletal
Disorders (MSDs) in workers and to analyze the level of ergonomic risk in workers using
the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method.
This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive observational design using
5 respondents. The research instruments are observation, interviews, and ErgoFellow
software. The data sources for this research were the results of interviews with workers'
complaints and video recordings and taking photos of employees. The results of this
study include the highest REBA final score found in one of the workers when scanning
goods, which is 9 with the level of action that requires immediate action.
The conclusions of the study include the results of REBA calculations in the
Incoming Division with the highest final REBA score found in one of the workers
scanning goods, namely with a score of 9, so immediate action is needed. The advice
given is to provide a table to scan items so that dispatchers do not have to bend down to
reach items to be scanned.
