Abstract :
Irregularity flight is a condition where the flight experiences irregularity
in the departure and arrival of aircraft. Factors that cause this condition are
technical factors, operational factors, environmental factors, flight support
factors on the ground and other factors such as natural disasters or certain
conditions that cause flight disruptions. The potential for this condition is often
found in airlines operating in certain companies. Therefore, this study discusses
the on time performance of airlines based on irregularity filght and causes at
Yogyakarta International Airport using the fishbone diagram method.
The object of research in this thesis is the delay of each airline based on
the IATA delay code that occurs using the fishbone diagram method. In the
preparation of this final project, there are stages of data collection methods,
namely the literature method, interview method, observation, and analysis study.
From the results of the study, the average delays for Lion Air, Garuda Air,
Citilink, Batik Air airlines are 18.7%, 9.6%, 10.7%, 12.3%, respectively. The
results of the analysis using fishbone diagrams show that the most dominant
factors causing delays are 1) man factor, 2) management factor, 3) machine
factor, 4) environment factor.
