Abstract :
The V-Sky 14 Next Generation UAV is a remotely controlled unmanned
aircraft, to design an aircraft must start from several stages starting from initial
design, detail design, manufacturing and flight testing. This aircraft has reached
the initial design, detail design and manufacturing stage. Due to the stages that
have not been carried out in this design, namely flight testing and this important in
designing a UAV aircraft, this flight test was carried out, this aims to determine the
performance of the V-Sky 14 Next Generation UAV aircraft to obtain range and
endurance values at the V-Sky 14 Next Generation. This is useful for knowing the
performance of the V-Sky 14 Nest Generation UAV aircraft.
The method used is a theoretical calculation method with test calculation in
the field. The V-Sky 14 Next Generation UAV aircraft is an aircraft that has been
modifed from the previous model, namely the V-SKY 14 UAV. The aircraft has
VTOL capability and electrically powered, with wingspan 1,713125m with fuselage
length of 650 mm and uses 5 engine brushless, 4 engine for VTOL mode and 1
engine for cruise mode and using Pixhawk 2.4.8 flight controller.
Based on the result of theoritical calculation, it can be seen that the range
value is 0,66756 km or 667,56 m and the endurance 0,03636 hour or 130, 896
second. In addition, the range and endurance values were also obtained from field
test whare the respective values ware 0,2475 km or 247,5 m and 0,0134 hour or
48,442 seconds.
