Abstract :
The Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) functions as a supplier of electricity for
instruments and other electrical equipment as well as for running Air Conditioning
(AC) when the main engine of the aircraft is still off. The Auxiliary Power Unit (APU)
is also used to create aircraft engines. Therefore, the maintenance of the Auxiliary
Power Unit (APU) must be considered so that it is always in a flight worthy
condition. Based on data from mechanical information and by looking at the data on
the Boeing 737 ? 400 Classic aircraft maintenance records at Skatek 021 Halim
Perdanakusuma Airbase.
The data analysis data on the maintenance record of the Boeing 737 ? 400
Classic Aircraft with data processing using Weibull DR-21 Software and also
FMECA (Failure Modes Effects & Criticality Analysis).
The results of the analysis using the Weibull DR-21 Software and also
FMECA (Failure Modes Effects & Criticality Analysis) shows that the level of
reliability of each component has decreased with the Critical Life Time of the APU
Module component being 1,122,366 Hours. The APU Ignition Exiter is 203,102
Hours. FCU APU is 155,242 Hours, Bleed Air Valve is 250,791 Hours, Turbine
Bleed is 126,458 Hours.
