Abstract :
Air transport plays a very important role in today's society. This role is realized
by Citilink airlines which provide the best service to customers in baggage issues. This
service can be realized in the role of the lost and found unit in handling problematic
baggage on Citilink Indonesia airlines at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. Has a
formulation of the problem of how the lost and found unit officers handle problematic
baggage according to the procedures set by Citilink airlines.
A fishbone diagram will identify various potential causes of an effect or
problem, and analyze the problem through a brainstorming session. Problems are
broken down into a number of related categories, including people, materials,
machines, procedures, policies, and so on. Each category has causes that need to be
explained through a brainstorming session. Factors causing mishandling of passenger
baggage usually start from the departure station or transit station.
The results of the analysis raise 2 issues discussed here: AHL and DPR. Where
the DPR is the most common problem encountered every month. The study of these
three problems is very useful for understanding the causes of the problem, so that a
solution can be found to reduce the problem after finding the root cause. On the other
hand, it also makes passengers aware that the baggage problem is not entirely Citilink's
fault.
