Abstract :
Adisumarmo Airport, which is in the middle of residential areas, is the reason why
it is important to pay attention to regulations regarding Aviation OperationalSafety
Areas (KKOP). The method for depicting the flight operations safety area (KKOP)
in this thesis is to use the overlay method by taking a cut image of the surface around
the airport via Google Earth Pro at an altitude of 2 km which is then overlaid on
the Flight Operations Safety Area (KKOP) image which is made according to scale.
which is determined in Corel Draw X7. Another method for determining potential
hazards related to obstacles is using the FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis)
method, namely determining the RPN value from the product of Severity,
Occurrence and Detectability. The result of the data processing process is
information about which areas are included in the flight operations safety area
(KKOP) around Adisumarmo Surakarta International Airport and can determine
the moderate Criticality level of potential danger from findings or incidents during
flight operations activities related to obstacles, namely from 2018-2020. Two
obstacles were found at a height of 50 meters in the Ngemplak area and the chimney
building and hotel. This research can be input for the government in planning
development and city layout as well as input for airport authorities to further
improve security and safety during flight operations.
