Abstract :
Electrical energy is a basic need to support various human activities,
including daily activities. Along with population growth and technological
developments, demand for electrical energy continues to increase. The aim of this
research was to calculate the amount of electrical power that will be generated, the
number of solar panels and calculate the inverter capacity in the New Student
Admissions Building of the Adisutjipto Aerospace Technology Institute. The
research method carried out is a qualitative method to determine the power
requirements needed to generate electrical energy in the New Student Admissions
Building (PMB) and the solar panels used for planning solar power plants. The
results of the research are that the solar power generation capacity generated is
25% of the electrical energy used by the new student admissions building, which is
22,780 Wh with an angle of 10° and the number of solar panels is 30 with a capacity
of 665 Watts and is arranged in 1 array with a result of 19,897.92 watt. This
calculation is based on the results of calculating the capacity of PLTS components,
and uses an inverter capacity of 26 kW with the Deye Inverter brand with 3 Phase
capacity.
