Abstract :
Maintenance activities on aircraft are carried out to maintain the reliability of aircraft components and maintain the condition of the aircraft to remain airworthy. If an aircraft component fails, it can result in a decrease in performance in the entire system. Therefore, the right solution is to implement a reliability program. Based on the defect report data of the EC 155 B1 Eurocopter helicopter, a reliability program was implemented from 2011-2023 and it was found that there were several components that failed in ATA Chapter 32 (Landing Gear). This research uses the Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. The result of this study is a reliability program implemented with a deflation factor of 3.2 in calculations with a 12-month interval. Based on the defect report data, 5 failure modes related to ATA Chapter 32 (Landing Gear) were obtained. From the results of the analysis with the FMEA method of 5 types of problems related to ATA Chapter 32 (Landing Gear), it was found that the problem with the Brake Accumulator had the highest RPN value of 36 which became a failure mode with a low failure rate.
