Abstract :
The world of aeromodeling at this time is experiencing very rapid development even many are now used as a means of entertainment or hobbies, such as drone racing races. Drone racing is a high-tech sport that is growing rapidly around the world. It implies competition through FPV drone racing on specially equipped FPV tracks and has several classes in drone racing such as open class, tiny woop, micro drone, freedom spec, street league and mega class. In this study, the author used a propeller with variations of 2, 3, 4 and 5 blades and then for propeller testing using vertical thrust propeller test bench. As for this test, the highest thrust (static thrust) is generated by the propeller with the number of 5 blades at the same rotating speed or RPM. While the value of power consumption produced from each propeller increases according to the number of blades on the propeller. Thus, the greater the number of blades on the propeller can affect the thrust greater and also the power consumption is also increasing so that the power change is not significant.
