Abstract :
Aircraft air transportation is one of the main industries in the city and also provides input to growth in the aviation sector that cannot be matched by other transportation systems in terms of techniques and innovations applied in the transportation sector and other modes of transportation. The Cessna C208B wing damage identification system was built using the Case-Based-Reasoning CBR method, because this method produces similarities based on similar events that have occurred previously, then carries out a similarity calculation process using the Cosine Similarity algorithm. The aim of this research is to help the Adisutjipto Yogyakarta Institute of Aerospace Technology to learn about damage and solutions to the wings of the Cessna C208B aircraft and to help young technicians identify the damage that has occurred without having to wait for senior technicians to resolve the damage. This research has succeeded in carrying out system and manual calculations using 10 symptom samples with 3 tests and each test produced 1 case as the main answer from 4 answers that were close, and had cases that had no similarities at all. Testing using SUS resulted in 63.3% with grade D OK.
