Abstract :
The increasingly rapid development of technology also influences the development of attacks on the world of computer networks. With the development of cyber attacks, several agencies, especially government and education, often experience a series of cyber crime attacks. Research Objectives Obtain information related to security gaps that can be used as evaluation material for administrators and provide mitigation recommendations for threats or security gaps on the ITD Adisutjipto Yogyakarta Campus. Information gathering is a stage used to collect information from a target, whether a system or network, individual or company. Information gathering IG is the initial and most important stage in carrying out penetration testing. Information targeted at a system on the internet is useful in carrying out penetration testing, for example information about IP addresses, DNS server names, technology used to build the network, applications whatever is on the network. The results of the IG can be used as mapping points in carrying out attack patterns that will be carried out on the system that will be tested when carrying out penetration testing. The results found were that there was a security gap that must be immediately repaired by the ITD Adisutjipto administrator.
