Abstract :
Transportation plays a very important role, so that the provision or
development of facilities and infrastructure in an area must be adequate in the sense
that it can accommodate and support the smooth movement of existing movement
activities within the area itself and its relationship with other regions. This is
because the movement of aircraft and passengers will continue to increase from
year to year
The methodology used in this analysis is the correlation method and
linear regression using SPSS software with 1 dependent variable, namely the
number of airplane passengers and 9 independent variables including, the number
of residents, the number of hotels, the number of hospitals, the number of students,
the number of universities, the number of workers, the number of companies, the
number of attractions and the number of visitors/tourists. This potential analysis
uses data from 2015 to 2020.
The results showed that the most influencing factor in the movement of
passengers was the number of mountains/tourists. With a correlation strength of
88.5% for the pull of the movement and 94.6% for the rise of the movement. The
influence of the number of mountains/tourists on the number of incoming passenger
movements is 78.4%, while the influence of mountains/tourists on the movement of
departing passengers is 89.5%. which means, the more the number of
mountains/tourists, the greater the movement of passengers
