Abstract :
The BNNP DIY aims to provide socialization through content containing various information related to narcotics, such as the dangers of drugs, consequences of drug abuse, rehabilitation facilities for drug offenders, and other engaging content to reduce drug cases in the Yogyakarta region.
This research employs a qualitative method, utilizing a constructivist paradigm. Initial steps involve interviews to understand the communication strategies employed by BNNP DIY in preventing drug abuse through Instagram in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentary studies. Data analysis employs a qualitative model.
The findings indicate that social media serves as the primary communication tool for BNNP DIY, playing a forefront role and serving as an initial communication bridge. Although direct activities persist, social media enhances the frequency of these activities. BNNP DIY's communication strategy focuses on scheduling and strategic planning, tailoring content to specific themes. The use of various social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, is integral. Content creation involves the public relations team, with input from leadership. Engaging content emphasizes raids, education, and services. Overall, the strategy effectively captures the public's attention.
