Abstract :
The Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) stated that 70% of trafficking victims in Indonesia are children. Child trafficking is a form of transnational crime and Indonesia is a country of origin, transit and destination for trafficking in persons. Child trafficking that occurs in Indonesia is so high, one of which is caused by economic factors and other factors. Efforts to prevent child trafficking in Indonesia have been regulated in the Law regarding but there has been no optimization in protecting the rights of child victims. By using the normative juridical research method, the results of this study are that the regulations on the protection of child victims of trafficking by parents can be identified.
