Abstract :
PT Kereta Api Logistik (running business as KAI Logistik, formerly KALOG or KALOG Express) is a subsidiary of PT Kereta Api Indonesia which aims to serve rail-based logistics distribution with door to door service business packaging to provide complete service for supported railroad customers. with pre and post transportation within the Indonesian territory in the field of railroad goods. Indonesian Railroad is an efficient and effective rail-based land transportation. This is evidenced by the large enough carrying capacity such as passengers and goods. This study aims to examine and analyze the Quality of Freight Forwarding Services at Pt. Gubeng Surabaya Logistics Train and make an evaluation for the agency so that it will be even better in the future. This study uses a qualitative research method using a qualitative and quantitative theory book (Prof. Dr.Sugiyono, 2019) by describing the freight forwarding services available at Pt. Gubeng Logistics Train. This research was conducted in natural conditions using qualitative methods to obtain in-depth data, data that contains meaning. The results of this study indicate that the efforts made by Pt. Logistics Railway is able to improve the quality of public services in these institutions. Some of these efforts are effective in the distribution of goods because they are able to save time, costs. By using the shipping services provided by Pt. The Logistics Train makes it easier for the public to carry out goods distribution activities or to buy and sell online. Improving the quality of these services will result in public interest in the delivery services provided by Pt. The Logistics Railway.
