Abstract :
Hypertension is blood pressure above 140/90 mmHg. Benson's relaxation therapy method is a method to relieve pain by relaxing tense muscles thus the body relaxes. The purpose of this case study is to find out the description of nursing care in hypertensive patients who experience pain in fulfilling the need for safety and comfort: pain. This type of research is descriptive using a case study approach. The subjects of this case study are people with hypertension in fulfilling a sense of security and comfort: pain. The results of the case study showed that the management of nursing for hypertensive patients in fulfilling a sense of security and comfort: pain with acute pain nursing problems performed by Benson relaxation therapy nursing actions to reduce blood pressure and pain, the results showed a decrease in blood pressure from 150/100 mmHg to 130/80 mmHg and a decrease in the pain scale from a scale of 3 to a scale of 0.
