Abstract :
Anemia during pregnancy is associated with maternal morbidity and an indirect cause of maternal death. The research purpose was determined the effectiveness of the Pocket Book of Nutritional Quality for Pregnant Women (NUKMIL) on knowledge and behavior to prevent anemia in pregnant women. The research type is quantitative research, used a quasi-experimental method. This research design applies the pre-experimental one group pretest-post test design. The sample were used 30 pregnant womens who performed ANC at PMB Ny. Suparsih, Masaran, Sragen Regency. The data consists of primary and secondary data. The data analysis technique used univariate and bivariate analysis. Bivariate data analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The research results indicated that 1) the results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test obtained Asymp. Sig. 2 tailed value 0.003 (p 0.05) statistically, there is a significant effect between health education on knowledge of anemia prevention; and 2) Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test results obtained Asymp. Sig. 2 tailed value 0.000 (p 0.05) statistically, there is a significant effect between health education on increasing anemia prevention behavior. Based on the research results, it was concluded that health education with the Pocket Book media of the Nutritional Quality for Pregnant Women (Nukmil) had a significant effect on knowledge and behavior to prevent anemia in pregnant women at PMB Ny. Suparsih, Masaran, Sragen Regency.
