Relationship between Economic Status and Husband?s Support with Maternal Anxiety Levels in Facing Normal Delivery
Abstract
Pregnancy and childbirth are a normal (physiological) process that occurs in a women. According to WHO, 99% of women will be able to give birth normally and 10% of women will experience abnormal (pathological) cases. Birth is the end point of pregnancy and requires careful preparation. A smooth delivery will be expected by every mother.
The economy is one of the important factors in people?s lives. The existence of the economy is very important for everyone, because to meet the needs of food, clothing, shelter and others. The economic downturn has a negative impact on vulnerable groups, one of which is pregnant women.
The support of the closest people, especially husband, is very much needed so that the inner atmosphere of pregnant women is calmer and less disturbed by anxiety. The husband?s role is very important because the husband is the main supporter (main support) during pregnancy.
Anxiety of pregnant women is influenced by internal factors and enternal factors. Beliefs about childbirth and feelings before delivery are included in internal factors. Meanwhile, external factors include information from health wokers, the economy, and husband?s support.
