THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE AND MOTIVATION OF PREGNANT WOMEN IN ANC EXAMINATION IN SANGGRAHAN VILLAGE GROGOL SUKOHARJO Sabrina Ulip Susanti 1, Ernawati 2, Desy Widyastutik 3 1 Midwifery Study Program Student, Undergraduate Program, Kusuma Husada University, Surakarta, 2.3 Lecturers, Midwifery Study Program, Undergraduate Program, Kusuma Husada University, Surakarta Email: Sabrina.mutiah@gmail.com ABSTRACT The lack of use of antenatal care by pregnant women is related to many factors. One of them is the knowledge of pregnant women (Tamaka, 2013). Knowledge about pregnancy can be obtained through counseling about pregnancy such as changes related to pregnancy, growth and development of the fetus in the womb, self-care during pregnancy and danger signs to watch out for. The type of research used in this research is analytic observational. The approach used in this method is cross-sectional. The population in this study is pregnant women in Sanggrahan Village, Grogol, Sukoharjo. In March 2023 there were 51 pregnant women in 1 month in the Village of Sanggrahan Grogol Sukoharjo. The sampling method was "Non-probability Sampling" with the "Total Sampling" sample technique. The characteristics of the respondents were mostly 21-30 years old (43.14%), most of them had high school education, namely 20 people (39.22%), and multipara parity of 33 respondents (64.71%). The majority of pregnant women's knowledge about ANC examinations was good, namely 21 people (41.2%). The motivation of pregnant women in ANC examinations in Sanggrahan Village, Grogol, Sukoharjo was mostly moderate, namely 22 people (43.1%). In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between knowledge and motivation of pregnant women in ANC examinations with a value of x2 count > x2 table (20.357 > 9.488) or a significant p 0.000 <0.05.
