Abstract :
Adolescents have the potential to transmit HIV/AIDS. Good knowledge about the disease will help teenagers make prevention efforts. Adolescence is a period when individuals are at the highest level of social mobility. The lack of sources of information obtained means that counseling is needed. The aim of the research was to determine the effect of reproductive health video education about HIV AIDS on the level of knowledge among adolescents at MTs Nurul Huda Gladagsari. Pre-experimental research with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was all teenagers at MTs Nurul Huda Gladagsari grade 7, totaling 85 respondents. Determining the sample size using the Slovin formula, the sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire. Bivariate analysis using Wilcoxon. Results of research on adolescent knowledge about HIV AIDS among adolescents at MTs Nurul Huda Gladagsari before providing health education on Reproductive Health Videos, the majority had moderate knowledge, namely 27 respondents (58.7%). The majority of teenagers have good knowledge about HIV AIDS, namely 38 respondents (82.6%). There is an influence of reproductive health video education about HIV AIDS on the level of knowledge in adolescents, with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05.
