Abstract :
SMP Kartika II-1 Palembang is one of the educational institutions in Jl. Queen of Cianum, 3 Ilir, Ilir Barat. II Palembang City, South Sumatera which is developing information technology to increase student achievement value. By applying the determination of student achievement done at SMP Kartika II-1 by taking the average of all criteria of assessment there are several categories of assessment on the selection of outstanding students that is 1) the average rapot score, 2) the number of attendance, 3) read write Al -Quran, 4) attitude and behavioral assessment, 5) activeness in organization, 6) achievement charter to be considered to determine student achievement. Due to the large number of students who will be counted School parties have difficulty in determining the selection of outstanding students, it is necessary a model decision support system. With these problems the authors will make the design of decision support system in determining the student achievement With the TOPSIS Method (Case Study SMP KARTIKA II-I Palembang) so that it can facilitate in determining the student achievement.
