Abstract :
The Maritime Museum Based on Information Technology in Palembang is an area that aims to provide information related to maritime affairs in Indonesia to the community, as well as being a recreational destination for the community, especially the people of Palembang. This information aims to introduce Indonesian maritime to the younger generation. The Information Technology-based Maritime Museum in Palembang consists of several facilities, namely the Indonesian maritime history area, artifact exhibition area, nekton Indonesia marine biota exhibition area, marine activity simulation area, various Indonesian marine products, auditoriums, libraries, restaurants, shops and parks open. All of these facilities are accommodated in three building masses. The theme applied at the Maritime Technology-Based Maritime Museum in Palembang is "Fluidity". This "fluidity" is derived from the type of museum, namely the maritime museum, which deals with the sea. The Technology-Based Maritime Museum This information is realized in a building through a futuristic concept.
