Abstract :
Background : Teenagers are children between the ages of 10-24 years who experienced progression from childhood to adulthood. Learning styles are individuals who have the ability or study habits in their daily lives. Personality is a characteristic of every individual in the form of viewpoint. The learning achievement results of students in the form of numbers or letters
Aim : This study aims to describe personality types and learning styles with academic achievement in the students of the Faculty of Health Sciences Catholic University Charitas Musi Palembang.
Method : This research was a quantitative study by using descriptive and cross-sectional design to 49 respondents total sampling.
Result : The results of the study showed respondents who have a largely extroverted personality type 21 (42.9%), have visual learning style mostly 19 (38.8), have achievement is very satisfying most of 32 people (65.3 %). Respondents who have type extroverted personality and academic achievement is very satisfying most of 15 (71.4%) and visual learning style and academic achievement is very satisfying most of 11 (57.9%). Recommended for students to learn method must be open during a presentation, discussing with friends, learning to use a map, look at the chart and read a book in the library in order to get good grades.
