Abstract :
This study was conducted to determine the effect of Emotional Intelligence Academic Achievement Against. This study uses primary data as much as 85. This research was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis with a significance level of 5%, the data collected by purposive sampling method. The sample was a student of Economics majoring in accounting MUSI Palembang final level (ie of semester (6) above). Analysis of research data using SPSS (Statistical Production Services and Solution) version 14. Based on the analysis of research, Emotional Intelligence component has no effect on academic interpretation. This suggests that Emotional Intelligence is not a major factor affecting academic achievement. This result is expected to be useful as a reference for future research.
