Abstract :
Background: posyandu for the elderly is a place of health service that is sourced from the community to serve the elderly population, the process of formation eand service is carried out by the community along with non-govermental organizations (LSM), the elderly Posyandu also provides health services on promotive and preventive efforts. Elderly Posyandu has the benefit of improving the health status of the elderly, increase the independence of the elderly,early detection of elderly health problems and increase the life expectancy of the elderly. Purpose:This study aims to determine the related factors with elderly visit to posyandu elderly in Rw 09 Kelurahan Talang Betutu Palembang. Method:this reserch use analytic survey method with cross sectional dedign done on 61 respondents and using sampling technique that is Total Sampling bivariate analysis technique used is Kendall?s tau test with significant value. Results: this research can be a relationship between attitude with elderly visit to posyandu elderly with (p value = 0,001 ; r = 0,409) and there is no relationship between knowledge (p value = 0,063 ; r = 0, 240), family suport (p value = 0,462 ; r = 0,093), and access (p value = 0,224 ; r = 0,152), with elderly visit to posyandu elderly. Recomended for posyandu officers to improve education so that the elderly get an understanding that the importance of maintaining and checking health is by utilizing posyandu elderly.
