Abstract :
Recreation is one of the things needed by humans because according to a survey conducted by Regus Asia (2012) states that 64% of workers in Indonesia experience stress levels compared to 2011. Ocean Water Park Palembang is a place for water tourism parks that can be enjoyed by all ages . This Palembang Ocean Water Park has several facilities in it, namely Indoor and Outdoor water park, food court, big aquarium, sauna, Childcare Center, souvenir shop, and clinic. All of these facilities are accommodated in one building period. The construction of the Palembang Ocean Water Park will have several benefits for the people of Palembang City and its surroundings, including being one of the recreational places in the room, as a family gathering place, and also as a place to relieve stress. The theme applied to the Ocean Water Park Palembang is "Waves", with the concept of the Beach. Planning for the construction of the Palembang Ocean Water Park uses 2 wide span structures, namely membranes and cables and shells. The wide span structure of the membrane uses ETFE (Etylene Tetra Fluoro Etylene) material which is transparent so that sunlight can enter the room.
