Abstract :
Civic Center is a recreation area and government of Palembang city. Civic Center consists of several facilities, namely multipurpose building, concert venue, parking building and also the city park. All these facilities are accommodated in three building masses. The development of Civic Center has several benefits, among others is to accommodate the recreation activities of the people of Palembang, to be a recreational facility for concert venues, both for local and foreign visitors, as well as the function of government buildings with a multipurpose building. In addition, the presence of the Civic Center can also be a unifying identity of the heterogeneous Palembang community. The theme applied in the design of the Civic Center is "Togetherness". This theme is manifested in the building through a modern form with modern architectural styles.
