Abstract :
In the industrial world today there are several very important components to be used in a company. Amuk shop is individual company that sells groceries. In order for the owner to order based on intuition, this store often runs out of stock (stockout) or overstock. The method used is the method (s, S) Policy and the ABC Method. The method (s, S) Policy is applied to the inventory system by determining the maximum amount of merchandise inventory and the minimum amount of merchandise inventory. ABC method is applied to the warehouse layout system, this method considers the frequency of rotation on each item when placing merchandise on the shelf, namely fast moving, medium moving, and low moving. Based on the results of the implementation of data processing it can be concluded that the determination of order quantity is constant, meaning that in the next 4 periods the order is carried out with the same amount. The proposal given in the ABC method layout experienced changes in the five shelves, with the simulation of the proposal it is expected that the owner can consider being able to implement the proposed results so Amuk Shop can continue to develop in its business.
