Abstract :
Background: As many as 21% of teanegers in Indonesia have commited abortion. Abortion provokatus is a deliberate abortion of the person?s wishes, abortion provokatus has an impact, One of the factors that influence abortion is the knowledge and attitude of the teenager Purposes: To find out the relationship between the level of knowledge about the impact of abortion provocatus and the attitudes of adolescents at SMAN 13 Palembang. Method: This type of research is quantitative, descriptive analytic design by Cross Sectional approach. Samples of students in class XI IPS were 101 respondents using purposive sampling technique, data analysis using the Kendall?s Tau test. Results: The results of this study found good knowledge of 52% resppndents (51,5%), good attitude as many 88 respondents (87,1%). The results of the Kendall?s Tau test found that there was a correlation between the level of knowledge about the impact of abortion and the attitude of adolescents by?p? value of 0,01 Suggestion: it is expected that this research can be a source of information and knowledge for adoles cents regarding the impact of abortion on provokatus in an affort to prevent the risk of abortion provokatus.
