Abstract :
Background: Less knowledge and adolescent delay in obtaining knowledge of reproductive health can cause teenagers to behave in a way that is risky for them. Adolescent knowledge of reproductive health is a provision for adolescents to determine healthy behaviors and more responsible and will create the growth and development of healthy teenagers, spiritual, and social to adulthood. Researh purposes: This study aims to determine the description of the level of adolescent knowledge about reproductive health of students of Class X at Xaverius 2 Senior High School Palembang Methods: This research is carried out using quantitative design with descriptive method and cross sectional approach. In order to get samples for this research, the stratified random sampling method is applied in which there are 81 respondents analysed using univariate analysis. Result: This study found that respondents who had good knowledge about reproduction health was around 21 students (25.9%) and had enough knowledge was around 55 students (67.9%) and had lack knowledge was 5 students (6.2%). Suggestion: To improve the knowledge of adolescent reproductive health, the school is expected to cooperate with health workers or health schools in providing education and counseling about reproductive health.
