Abstract :
Background :The role of family is important in the handling of Schizophrernics because family who have good knowledge, good attitude, good actions can help the treatment of schizophrernics patien. Purpose : The purpose of this study was to determine The Relationship of knowledge, attitude, action of family caring patient Schizophrernics with The Relaps of Schizophrernics at Outpatict Polyclinic of Ernaldi Bahar Mental Hospital of Palembang 2017. Method : This study uses the analytical method with cross sectional design and the sample of 89 respondents with tecnic purposive sampling and uji statictic is chisquare test. Result : Chisquare test results the relationship family knowledge with the relapsp value = 0,010, family attitude with the relapsp value = 0,015, family action with the relaps p value = 0,024. Conclusion : The role of family is very important in the relaps of schizophrernics patient. Suggestions : Need a good family role in the handing of Schizophrenic to prevent relaps.
