Abstract :
Chronic renal failure is a condition in which the kidney is damaged and can not maintain its function progressively, so that patients with chronic renal failure require hemodialysis therapy. The impact of hemodialysis therapy is immobility and fatigue, fear of death, dependence on hemodialysis machine and the impact on the quality of life of patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect the quality of life in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis in the RSI. Siti Khadijah Palembang. This research is quantitative research with cross sectional design with a sample amounted to 49 respondents. The test results obtained statistik no relation to the quality of life in the age of the respondents who undergo hemodialysis in the RSI. Siti Khadijah Palembang 2015 with p value 0845, there was no association of sex with the quality of life of respondents who undergo hemodialysis in the RSI. Siti Khadijah Palembang 2015 with a p value 0.123, there was no relation between education and quality of life in respondents who undergo hemodialysis in the RSI. Siti Khadijah Palembang 2015 with a p value 0310, there was no relationship marital status with quality of life in respondents who undergo hemodialysis in the RSI. Siti Khadijah Palembang 2015 with a p value 0287, no longer undergoing hemodialysis relationship with quality of life in respondents who undergo hemodialysis in the RSI. Siti Khadijah p value Palembang 2015 by 0857, there is no family support relationship with quality of life in respondents who undergo hemodialysis in the RSI. Siti Khadijah Palembang 2015 with p value 0952, there was no correlation with the level of stress on the quality of life of respondents who undergo hemodialysis in the RSI. Siti Khadijah Palembang 2015 with a p value 0.065. The researchers concluded that there was no relationship between the factors that affect the quality of life of respondents who undergo hemodialysis such as age, gender, education, marital status, old underwent hemodialysis, family support and stress levels with quality of life.
