Abstract :
This study aims to determine the effect of total quality management and reward systems on managerial performance in the hotel, restaurant and cafe businesses in the city of Palembang. The period of this research is 2020. The theory used in this research is Contingency Theory and Results Control Systems. The population in this study is a hotel, restaurant and cafe business in the city of Palembang. The sample selection uses a purposive sampling method with a total sample of 52 companies. Data analysis technique used to test hypotheses is to use multiple regression tests to determine the effect of the total quality management variable and the reward system on managerial performance. Based on the results of the data analysis test shows that the total quality management and reward system have no effect on managerial performance.
