Abstract :
Palembang is a region which is and will continue to experience rapid growth in various fields. This will result in the number of vehicles circulating in Palembang. Increasing the number of vehicles resulted in consumption of fuel oil (BBM) will also be increased. The number of General Fuel Filling Stations (Gas Station) is also increased as well in terms of number and located mainly in the cities of Palembang. Therefore iu, required a system for mapping the location, which can be called a geographic information system. One way is applied by researchers in providing solutions to Palembang residents is to implement "Web-Based Geographic Information System location of gas stations in the city of Palembang". The system is web-based for information and communication technology is growing rapidly and internet connections are getting faster. In making this application, researchers used a waterfall system development methodology, Google Map, the PHP programming language and MySQL database. This application help the people of Palembang in finding the nearest gas station easily and quickly.
