Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to esamine the influence of proxy of independent commissioner, institutional ownership, and foreign ownership to environmental performance. This study uses Shareholder Theory and Legitimacy Theory. The population is all companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange, while the sample is companies that follow the PROPER program, with a total sample 73 companies. The data analysis is multiple regression analysis to know the effect of poxy of independent commissioner, institutional ownership, foreign ownership to environmental performance. This result showed that institutional ownership and foreign ownership significant affect to environmental performance, then proxy of independent commissioner does not affect.
