Abstract :
This study aims to analyze the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) and Just In Time (JIT) on the performance of shipments in shipping service companies in Palembang. The population in this study were all shipping companies in Palembang. The sample used was 30 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, this technique is used to predict the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) and Just In Time (JIT) on the performance of shipments in shipping service companies in Palembang. In this study, data collection techniques used were using questionnaire instruments. The results obtained in this study indicate that the variable Total Quality Management (TQM) and Just In Time (JIT) have a significant influence on the performance of shipments in shipping service companies in the city of Palembang.
