Abstract :
Palembang is an area that has complete sports facilities and meets international standards. Palembang people are also very enthusiastic about sports, and also take part in competitions. But the support for the existing facilities does not fully support sports, especially baskets. Therefore, the writer will question Palembang Basketball Arena in JSC to accommodate the basketball competition and training facilities and to attract people to be enthusiastic in it. The design of this building was made with the theme "urban sportainment" for comfort settings in recreational sports facilities for competitors, both athletes and visitors with the vision and mission of JSC (Jakabaring Sport City). The theme is supported by the concept supported by the metaphor of "basket" in the sense of an object that is a basket or container and also a basket in the sense of sports.
