Abstract :
Palembang City is the second largest city on the island of Sumatra and Palembang is the oldest city in Indonesia. Palembang City has a very large and very interesting historical section to follow. The history of Palembang city consists of four periods, namely the Sriwijaya Kingdom, Palembang Darusalam Sultanate, the Dutch and Japanese Colonial period, and the Independence period until now. Then in the Palembang History Museum, the fourth history of the city of Palembang will be displayed, the Palembang History Museum will be very provide information - information that is very clear and true about the history of the city of Palembang in its time. Palembang History Museum is expected to become a place of high value regarding the educational and recreational value. The general theme applied was "Tropical Architecture" or Tropical Architecture, a special theme chosen according to function. "Palembang History Museum" is the theme of the Period, and the building is designed with the concept of Diorama Keywords: Palembang History, Museums, Educational & Creative, Time to Time, Dioramas.
