Abstract :
In the world of education today, a student will get a bachelor's degree if the student has completed the requirements set by the tertiary institution. The problem that is often faced by students who are in the informatics study program at Musi Charitas Catholic University is the difficulty in choosing the final assignment topic. This is supported by the interview data with the Head of Study Program (Head of Study Program) Informatics. This research will use research data (elective courses) from Informatics study program students from 2011 to 2015 by applying the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The results of this study in the form of topic recommendations that can be used by students as a reference to take the topic.
