Abstract :
Palembang Culinary Center is a public building that functions as a culinary tour, especially Palembang's typical foods. Palembang Culinary Center has facilities such as public spaces, parks, ponds, food court areas, restaurant and buffet areas, and cafe areas. The facilities are accommodated in a compound mass in the form of a building with the main function and supporting functions. Palembang Culinary Center was built in the tourism area of Palembang City, which is in the Sekanak area, precisely next to the Sekanak Sidewalk. The Palembang Culinary Center development aims to promote Palembang city tourism, especially in the river banks. The theme applied was Bon Appetit, which was defined as a good meal. This theme was taken because of the function of this building which needs to create a comfortable atmosphere for dining. This theme is embodied in the building through the concept of Pempek Kapal Selem which is one of Palembang's typical foods, and was designed with an analogy approach.
