Abstract :
This study aims to determine whether there is influence of corporate governance mechanisms in companies experiencing financial permasahan. Corporate governance mechanism is believed to be able to build a better company performance. This study will examine the differences in the application of corporate governance in companies experiencing financial problems and the company is not experiencing financial problems. Corporate governance mechanisms that will be examined in this study that includes independent variables: board size, the proportion of independent board, and institutional ownership structure. As control variables firm size and leverage.
