Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of leverage, firm size and liquidity variables to the use of hedging activities on manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2015-2019 period. The sampling method is using purposive sampling techniques and obtained 625 samples of companies that meet the criteria. Analysis techniques applied in this research is using logistic regression analysis. The research indicates the debt to equity ratio as the proxy of leverage has an insignificant positive effect on the hedging activities. Nevertheless, firm size has a significant positive effect on hedging activities. On the other side current ratio as the proxy of liquidity shows a significant negative effect on hedging activities.
