Abstract :
This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of financial literacy on financial management of culinary MSMEs in the city of Palembang. This study uses a sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. The total sample used in this study was 100 samples. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that financial literacy has a significant negative effect on financial management of culinary MSMEs in the city of Palembang. The financial literacy level of culinary MSMEs in Palembang is in the "medium" category and financial management of culinary MSMEs in Palembang is classified as "poorly". The results of this study imply that there is a need for efforts to increase financial literacy from the government and the need for efforts to improve financial management for MSMEs so that their business financial management becomes better.
