Abstract :
This research was conducted with the aim to examine whether it is true that one of the determinants of employee performance is use of social media at PT. Bintang SuryaSindo Palembang. This research was conducted to all employees of PT Bintang SuryaSindo Palembang with a total of 47 respondents. In this study, data collection techniques used were using questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 25. This study meets the requirements of validity, reliability, normality, heteroscedasticity tests. From the regression equation, the R square value obtained indicates that there is an influence of social media on employee performance. Based on the T test, use of social media variables have a significant influence. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an positive influence between use of social media on employee performance at PT. Bintang SuryaSindo Palembang.
