Abstract :
South Sumatra Province, which is a region which is and will continue to experience rapid development in various fields, especially in the field of business services. It is making a lot of people of Palembang and the people who visit the city of Palembang difficulty in knowing the location of hotels scattered in the city of Palembang. Thus, it needed an information system that serves as a guide and to facilitate the citizens to know the location and information Palembang in Palembang. One way that will be applied by researchers in providing solutions to society Palembang is to implement "Geographic Information Systems Distribution Hotel in Palembang". In making this application, researchers used a waterfall model of system development methodologies, software development UML (Unified Modeling Language) as well as the programming language PHP and MySQL database. This application is expected to help the community and visitors in the city of Palembang in the search location and hotel information easily, accurately, and quickly.
