Abstract :
This study aimed to examine the effect of job satisfaction and organizational commitment to employee performance of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII Distrik Banyuasin. The population was 64 employees and the samples obtainded that can be processed is 59 employees. The analysis technique used to process the data that is validity, reliability, classic assumption test (test of residual normality and heteroscedasticity test) and regression test with SPSS version 17.0. The results showed that job satisfaction influence on employee performance and organizational commitment does not affect the performance of employees. But the F-test, job satisfaction and organizational commitment jointly affect the performance of the employee. Based on the test results R2 variable job satisfaction and organizational commitment variables affect the performance of employees amounted to 45.4% and the remaining 54, 6% is influenced by other variables.
