Abstract :
This study was conducted to determine the effect of promotion and lifestyle by using a credit card on consumer purchasing decisions in Palembang. This research is done by using field surveys. The sampling technique used is Nonprobability Sampling. Sample in the study of 100 people, where respondents are people who have made a purchase using a credit card. The data analysis technique used is the test of validity, reliability test, descriptive analysis of the average score per variable and multiple linear regression. Test resultsshow the validity of all data is valid, the reliability test showed all data are reliable, and the promotion has the highest scores average than variable lifestyle. The results of multiple linear regression test showed the variables of promotional and lifestyle variables has a positive and significant influenceon purchasing decisions.
