Abstract :
This paper discuss about the effect of quality cost on profitability level of the company. The population in this study were service companies engaged in hospitality. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method, where the company sampled based on certain criteria. The study sample is obtained by 84 companies. The goal of this research was to prove that the cost of quality has an effect on the profitability level of the company. Based on the results of testing the hypothesis by using t-test in a simple linear regression, the significance value for the cost of quality of 0,014 < 0,05. This shows that Ha (Alternative Hypotesis) was accepted, the cost of quality affect the level of profitability of the company.
